Trillium 1300Meet the Trillium 1300

Originally designed to meet the small car influx in the early 70s, the Trillium 1300 was the perfect answer for those who had these new cars with a 1500 pound tow capacity. Today, we have the same headlines again – fuel economy and high prices. This time, everyone agrees that high fuel pricing is here to stay.

The new 1300 has a little more equipment now, with an empty weight of about 1400 pounds. It still sleeps 4 with the front bunk option, or 3 for those that would like a fixed rear bed and a front dinette. It has retained all the features that the original Trillium was famous for – more features – and an outstanding amount of storage. Most important is the bonding of all fiberglass components – no screws, staples, or rivets to work loose over time. Another important feature is the opening windows – on all 4 sides. You can never have too much ventilation on those hot summer days; And they can remain open in a light rain!

There are thousands of Trilliums still on the road today, some approaching their 40th birthday. Compare our features, equipment, and longevity against anyone else – there is no comparison.

Meet the Trillium 4500

Originally designed in 1977, the 4500 (4.5 meters), was the answer for those that needed that little bit of extra space, and had higher tow capacity in their car. Today, it weighs in at about 1700 pounds, with a GVW of 2200 pounds. In keeping with tradition, we kept the larger rear bed/table, (which we made even bigger), and increased the kitchen area with more storage and a larger counter top. Roof air conditioning is an easy add-on, as the platform is now built into the newly designed top. All the other features hold true for the 4500 as it’s brother, the 1300. More new features for both models include: removable power cord, 45 amp converter/charger (USA made), LED lights, glass covered combo sink & 3 burner stove, pleated shades, a lower center of gravity, and aluminum wheels. Vinyl covered walls, with a closed cell foam, – not carpeting -  will keep you warmer on those cool nights, and cooler in the summer heat.
