The Trillium Company
Trillium RV Ltd. is the direct descendent of the original company – Trillium Recreational Vehicles Ltd. of Markham (Toronto) Ontario, Canada. The Markham factory produced over 13,000 units in various models – 1300, 4500, Jubilee, 5500 – and even boats & truck caps. At it’s peak, there were about 120 employees, building 5 – 8 trailers per day in a very modern plant. The Trillium was considered to be the “Cadillac” in the fiberglass trailer market, and earned the highest awards for design & customer satisfaction.
Today, the company is relocating to Florence, Arizona – about an hour south of Phoenix. Rest assured that the new Trilliums are being built to the same high quality standards that have made the brand famous over the years. The trailer was designed & engineered so well, that the same molds are still being used today. The goal of all the employees is to build the best trailer, with exceptional value, which will provide many years of trouble-free enjoyment.
Tom Young, former VP of operations of the original Trillium plant in Canada, is now President of TRV. He oversaw 10 years of manufacturing the best fiberglass trailer in the marketplace. Included in operations was the sales dept.- a coast to coast dealer network in the US & Canada, dealer service dept. training, shipping, and much of the design work. Key to product development was attendance at all major RV shows, which led to all the great features found in the Trillium today. This customer and sales feedback was key to the success of the trailer in form & function. He is personally involved in every sale, and check out of every trailer prior to delivery.
Given the history and longevity of this great brand, you can be assured of a well built, quality trailer.
TRV produces trailers in 2 sizes – the 1300 & 4500, in 4 standard floor plans – a 4 sleeper bunk and a 3 sleeper front dinette. A corner toilet room is now available as well. The new Trillium has an even higher level of quality control, some degree of customization, and top notch customer service. Most importantly, the Trillium is manufactured today in the same fashion as before. We use the original molds; so the design, fit, and floor plans are true to the former high construction standards.
The real key to Trillium’s longevity is the bonding of all the fiberglass parts. Almost none of the other fiberglass manufacturers can make this claim. As a result, most of the trailers produced since the beginning are still on the road today – 35 years – some over 40! Few can make a claim to such a long, rich history – a true testament to the quality, durability, and design. And, the innovative trailer idea of so many years ago – the light weight, aerodynamic fiberglass trailer – is needed even more today than in the ‘oil crisis days’ of the 70s.
We are establishing a dealer network across the US & Canada. If a dealer is not close to you, please contact us directly for sales info. Dealers can be found by clicking on the Dealers link above. Of course, we will continue make Trilliums with our high degree of customer satisfaction, and welcome direct feedback to us. This allows us to build the best trailer according to your needs.
